Cyber Resilience Act Reporting

As a designer and manufacturer of measurement and instrumentation systems, Datum Electronics is committed to maintaining the cybersecurity of its products and responding promptly to potential security vulnerabilities and security incidents.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), we provide a dedicated reporting channel for potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities or security incidents relating to Datum Electronics products with digital elements.

What should you report?

A reportable issue is a cybersecurity vulnerability that is being actively exploited, or a security incident that has affected a Datum Electronics product with digital elements. This reporting channel is intended for genuine cybersecurity concerns rather than general product issues.

Examples may include:

  • Unauthorised access to a device, system, or communications interface
  • Evidence that a vulnerability is being, or has been, exploited
  • Malicious software, tampering, or unexpected security-related behaviour
  • A security flaw that could allow data to be accessed, modified, disrupted, or disclosed without authorisation
  • Compromise of product software, firmware, or connected services

If you are unsure whether an issue qualifies as a cybersecurity vulnerability or security incident, please submit a report and our team will assess it.
