EEXI / ShaPoLi Solution

Our EEXI and EEDI solution can help vessel owners comply with the latest legislation on energy efficiency, whether it be for new build vessels or retrofitted to a current fleet. This Shaft Power Limitation (ShaPoLi) system was developed to enable vessels to limit their fuel consumption and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by limiting the output power and logging discrepancies.

The Datum Torsionmeter is a key tool to measure Shaft Power in your Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) and as a Key input into you Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI).

For commercial marine customers, we offer a competitively priced, flexible shaft power meter system which is capable of measuring shafts between 150mm – 1100mm diameter with speeds up to 900RPM as standard.

Naval Torsion Meters

Our military shaft power meter systems are currently in service with UK Royal Navy, Australian Navy, Korean Navy, Indian Navy. The Datum Naval Torsionmeters were originally developed for the UK Royal Navy Mine-hunter Fleet and were tested to the most stringent of the UK Defense Standards for electromagnetic compatibility environmental conditions; the same designs are now certified MIL Specifications.
