We recently visited Hamburg for the 30th anniversary of SMM, the leading maritime trade fair. With over 30,000 visitors from over 100 nations, we had the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and businesses all eager to see the latest innovations in marine technology.
We were proud to showcase our latest EEXI software coupled with our shaft power measurement solution with an interactive display with the ability to show how over power situations can be logged to ensure compliance with the MARPOL Annex VI (prevention or air pollution from ships) MEPC.335(76) EEXI regulations.
Our sales team at the show had some fantastic conversations with delegates and vessel owners alike, resulting in several orders and some exciting future partnerships.

“We were so pleased to get back to SMM after a long period of pandemic restrictions to see so many old and new faces at the show. SMM really gives us a chance to showcase our latest innovations and first-class British engineering to visitors from around the world. We met with several of our distributors and brewed new relationships with many more potential customers. It was a fantastic experience and opportunity to discuss the latest regulations like EEXI with those who we can help most with our game changing products”
Such a vast amount of work goes into the show from SMM itself to the 200+ speakers, the exhibitors and all the attendees. It’s truly this coming together of effort and collaboration that makes the show the pinnacle of our diaries in the maritime industry. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2024 from the 3rd-6th September and in the meantime look forward to cultivating new relationships made at the show.
