The Datum Electronics team recently took part in Wessex Cancer Support‘s first ever charity dragon boat race, braving fierce competition (and even fiercer weather) to raise money for an essential charity.
Competing against nine other Isle of Wight-based businesses across three rounds, the team quickly adapted to unfamiliar conditions and challenging weather—powering to victory in the second heat and finishing a close runner-up in a hard-fought third. While we ultimately fell short of qualifying for the grand final, we were thrilled with our performance, and delighted to get out of the rain!
