At Datum Electronics, we believe that responsible and sustainable business practice extends beyond engineering excellence. As part of this commitment, we’re proud to support The Africa Trust through our partnership with AquAid Water Coolers, a supplier known for helping deliver sustainable clean‑water solutions across Africa.
Through this initiative, AquAid funds the installation of Elephant Pumps, durable, low‑maintenance water wells that provide reliable access to safe drinking water for local communities. To date, AquAid has supported the construction of more than 10,000 Elephant Pumps across countries which include Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, and contributing over £20 million to charitable causes.
The Datum team are delighted to share that a new pump has been built as a result of our partnership. Access to clean water is remains a daily challenge for millions around the world, but supporting practical and sustainable infrastructure like this is one way we can help make a difference.
